Remit
The Asylum Taskforce is a sub-committee of the Families, Communities and Young People Policy Committee. The Task Force provides an interface between central and local government on issues around the statutory responsibilities of directors of children’s services for families and unaccompanied children who are subject to immigration legislation. It identifies and shares best practice in this area.
